The Dance Series

Tehran, 2011-12

“The Dance Series” was a series of mixed media pieces produced in reaction to ban of dancing in Iran. As the project moved forward, dance transformed to the metaphor of freedom and since, this metaphor played a significant role in my practice as an artist.
