Origami Installations

In summer 2016, I started working on a series of public installations. The focus point of theses installations is “the Absence of women in the society”. To address this subject, I chose “dress “as the metaphorical embodiment of absence.  “Origami Installations” is an ongoing project, happening in different neighborhoods of Tehran. For this project, I have made hundreds of origami dresses. The origami paper is made of printed Persian decorative motifs and photos of women’s lips and skin (taken by the artist).
